Do I need a permit for siding?
The City’s code information states that roofing and siding require a building permit. We confirm the requirement for your scope against the address.
Can you tell from a photo whether I need repair or replacement?
Only partly. A photograph shows what’s failing and roughly how much. It can’t show the sheathing behind the wall, which usually decides between repair and replacement.
What should I mention about the building’s age?
