Siding installation and replacementDamaged panels, failed trim, water entry, and finding out why before fixing what shows.
Siding repairBusiness properties, offices, retail and multifamily buildings, where access, occupancy and phasing shape the job as much as the wall does.
Commercial sidingThe City’s Clinton Street Neighborhood Business District material identifies Clinton Street as the backbone of the First Ward. It describes a dense commercial corridor alongside residential areas, with historic buildings set close to the sidewalk and a walkable relationship to downtown.
What that means for your project: questions about the site. A building close to the sidewalk changes where staging goes and how pedestrians are routed. A commercial corridor beside residential blocks means the property next door may keep different hours and have different tolerance for noise and disruption.
What it doesn’t mean: that every First Ward building is historic, or that a special review applies to your property. Neither follows from the neighborhood. Ask us to verify the facade, access, staging, trim and flashing condition, and any property-specific review that may apply to your address.
The trade detail is the same wherever the building is, and it lives on the service pages: material comparison and the full preparation sequence on siding installation and replacement, and damage diagnosis, matching and hidden findings on siding repair.
What’s specific to a tight site: where equipment goes, how the sidewalk and adjacent property are protected, when deliveries can happen, and who is told what and when if the building is occupied.
Estimate factors: number of stories, removal, what the substrate turns out to be, access and sidewalk protection, trim, disposal, and permit review. We don’t publish prices or completion dates before seeing the building.
Ask us for these, and verify them yourself rather than taking them from a website:
Give the full property address on the form. The City and the Town are separate governments with separate code offices and permit processes, and the mailing city doesn’t settle it.
Possibly, possibly not. Historic buildings in the neighborhood don’t mean your parcel carries a review requirement. It’s a question to verify for your address before design or scheduling, and we’ll raise it.
The City’s code information states that roofing and siding require a building permit. We confirm the requirement for your scope against the address.
Yes. Paid work that disturbs painted surfaces in pre-1978 buildings may bring EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting requirements into scope, so tell us the age and what’s painted. If you suspect asbestos-containing material, say so, and have a qualified professional evaluate it before anything disturbs it.
Property address, building type, existing cladding, what you’re seeing, access constraints, and your timing.
